Shaun Evans is an Australian football (soccer) referee in the A-League.[1]
Evans has refereed in the Hyundai A-League since 2012, and has refereed 3 games in the Chinese Super League including the final in 2013.
Originally on the A-League Assistant Referee panel, Evans was promoted to Referee in 2012.
Following Ben Williams' retirement in 2016, Evans was announced as a full-time professional referee by the FFA. He received his FIFA badge in 2017.
On the 4th of April 2017, Jarred Gillett was appointed as one of the inaugural Video assistant referee (VAR's) in the Hyundai A-League, the first top-tier football league in the world to implement the technology. [2]
