Shantipriya (Telugu: శాంతిప్రియ) is an Indian film actress has working in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi language films.[1] She is the younger sister of the popular actress Bhanupriya.
Career
Nishanti (aka) Shanti priya, acted in several films, including her biggest hit, Enga ooru paatukran (1988). She was also seen on TV's sci-fi epic Aaryjamaan – Brahmaand Ka Yoddha opposite Mukesh Khanna in 2002. She acted as heroine in a few TV serials and films. Shanti Priya made her debut with Akshay Kumar starrer Saugandh. She has acted with Mithun Chakraborty in many hit movies like Mere Sajana Saath Nibhana, Phool Aur Angaar and Meherbaan. Now she is making a comeback in Hamilton Palace along with Mahakshay Chakraborty, son of Mithunda.
Family
Shantipriya married actor Siddharth Ray in 1999. Siddharth is the grandson of V. Shantaram and has acted in films like Baazigar and Vansh. Siddharth died of a massive heart attack in 2004, leaving behind his wife and two sons.
