Shōō (勝央町 Shōō-chō) is a town located in Katsuta District, Okayama Prefecture, Japan.
As of April 2017, the town has an estimated population of 11,237 and a density of 210 persons per km2.[1] The total area is 54.09 km2.
This town is said to be the place Kintarō died.
