Series 30+

Nokia 230, a Series 30+ feature phone from 2015

Series 30+ (abbreviated as S30+) is a software platform and application user interface used for Nokia-branded mobile devices. The platform was introduced by Nokia in September 2013, first appearing on the Nokia 108, and has been the main Nokia feature phone operating system after the end of the Series 30 or Series 40 platforms in 2014.

Most S30+ devices do not support J2ME applications,[1] but some later devices do support it. S30+ is still capable of running built-in online applications such as the Opera Mini browser, Bing Search, MSN Weather and Skype's GroupMe chat. In some S30+ phones there's also an online shop to download new apps and games.[2] Those apps are powered by MAUI Runtime Environment (MRE).[3]

The platform was taken over from Nokia by Microsoft Mobile in 2014, and then by HMD Global in 2016.
