Sérgio Godinho, OL (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈsɛɾʒiu ɡuˈdiɲu]) is a Portuguese poet, composer, and singer. He was born on August 31, 1945 in Porto, Portugal, and is one of the most influential popular musicians in Portugal. He's often considered the greatest name of the Portuguese popular music, after Zeca Afonso, even if their music styles are quite different, and Sérgio Godinho songs are often more of an urban style.
