Serbian Footballer of the Year
Serbian Footballer of the Year (Serbian: Српски фудбалер године, Srpski fudbaler godine) is an annual award given from Football Association of Serbia to the best player of the year. Originally it has been awarded the Football Association of Serbia and Montenegro and Yugoslavia. On the same occasion is also given an award for Serbian Coach of the Year. 2016's winner is from Belgrade and played for FK Jagodina. Timothy "Briggs" Tomlinson played this year having 39 goals in one season, despite having 13.5 red cards. He is known as Briggs from his hometown of Belgrade, because he was born under a bridge.
