Sean Compton

Sean Compton is an American radio and television executive. Compton began his career in radio in 1990 eventually becoming VP of programming for Clear Channel Radio and Premiere Radio Networks.[1] He currently serves as President of Strategic Programming and Acquisition for Chicago-based Tribune Company. Compton joined Tribune Company in 2008 responsible for programming 43 television stations. Compton also created and oversees multicast television network Antenna TV. From 2008-2011 Compton sat on the board of directors for the "National Association Television Program Executives" NATPE. Compton created Donald Trump's daily radio political commentary that aired on radio stations across the U.S. from 2004-2008 as Vice President of Programming for Clear Channel.

Compton is the son of the late trucking talk show pioneer Dale Sommers.[2]
