Sea Star Festival is a music festival organized by the team behind EXIT festival in Serbia. It will be held for the first time on 26–27 May 2017 at the Stella Maris resort in the town of Umag, Croatia.[1] In addition to that, a warm-up party will be held on 25 May as well as an after-party on the 28h of May 2017.[1] It will be one of four festivals of EXIT Summer of Love 2017. The first acts announced include bands such as The Prodigy, Fatboy Slim, Paul Kalkbrenner, Dubioza kolektiv, Modestep LIVE, Pendulum DJ Set, Urban&4, Artan Lili, Bad Copy, Brkovi, Elemental, High 5&Kuku$, Jonathan, Kiša metaka, Krankšvester, Matter, Sassja. As many as 70 performers ranging from rock and pop acts to electronic, metal and punk will perform on six stages at the site of the festival.[2]

EXIT Summer of Love will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love and mark the most important events from 1967 when the revolutionary Peace Movement began. Besides Sea Star Festival, it will include three more music festivals – Revolution Festival in Romania on 2–3 June 2017, EXIT Festival in Serbia on 6–9 July 2017 and Sea Dance Festival on 13–15 July 2017.

Location

Sea Star's festival site, Stella Maris complex, is set on the Istrian beach at the north of the Croatian seaside. Beyond the music, visitors are encouraged to explore the surroundings of Umag, with its rich Mediterranean spirit and historical architecture, while also taking advantage of the local cycle paths and bike rentals.

Key Stages

Sea Star festival will have six stages in total. The Tesla Main Stage will present the headliners of the festival, while Nautilus Arena, located under the main ATP stadium, will dedicate one night to Indie bands, and the other to alternative electronic music. Stages named Zion Beats, Exotic Laguna and Silent Octopus will bring a variety of genres with hip-hop, reggae, latino, bass, house, techno. Sixth stage, dubbed Cinema Stage, will boast a huge screen where movies and best Exit performances will be shown in HD.
