Scribble Mural Comic Journal is the first full-length album from A Sunny Day in Glasgow, released on compact disc format on February 13, 2007 by Notenuf Records, and on vinyl in 2008 by Ruined Potential Records.[7]

Recording

The album was recorded in Ben's apartment and the Daniels' siblings parents' houses. Ben Daniels has stated that the album was recorded by the band and that it was the first time they ever attempted to record a body of work.[8][9] Outtakes from the album were released in July 2007 as the Tout New Age EP.[10] The album was released on vinyl in 2008 by Ruined Potential Records, with additional remixes by Ulrich Schnauss and Asobi Seksu.

Reception

The album received widespread critical acclaim, including a "Recommended" distinction from Pitchfork Media.[11]
