Career

In October 2015 Wharton his 1st professional contract at Blackburn Rovers penning a 2 and a half year deal.[4]

In August 2016 Wharton made his 1st team debut for Blackburn Rovers in the 2–2 draw against Burton Albion.[5][6] He scored his first goal for Blackburn in a 4–3 EFL Cup win against Crewe Alexandra on 23 August 2016.[7]
