W. Scott Parker III is an American actor, director, and screenwriter. He has appeared in over one-hundred plays and films[1][2] working with directors such as Derrick Borte, Giancarlo Esposito, and George Clooney. Most recently he played Jefferson Calvert in the theatrical production of Four Queens - No Trump under the direction of Ted Lange.[3] In recent years, Mr. Parker has gravitated toward historical films including Capt. Philip Carteret of the HMS Harwich in the film Newton's Grace,[4] Dr. Smith (Henry Box Brown), and Gen. George Washington (produced by North Carolina Museum of History).

Mr. Parker wrote and directed the "satirical send-up" film Bob & his Enlarged Amygdala.[5][6] He played the lead in the feature film The Polar Bear Club.[7]

According to Family Tree DNA, Mr. Parker's ethnicity is Scandinavian 51% and Western Europe 40%. His father was an Army Air Corps Pursuit (Fighter) Pilot in World War II.
