Scott Moe is a Canadian provincial politician, who is the current Member of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan for the riding of Rosthern-Shellbrook. He is the current Minister of Advanced Education since 2014, in the executive council of Brad Wall.[1] He was first elected in the 2011 election, and re-elected in the 2016 election.[2][3][4] He represents the Saskatchewan Party caucus.
Background
Moe was born on a farm near Shellbrook. He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan, with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. He later worked in various community initiatives in and near Shellbrook, including the Economic Development Corporation, and the Shellbrook and District Physician Recruitment committee, which seeks to attract general practitioners to rural areas of the province which do not have good access to local medical facilities.[1] In 1992, he was convicted of drunk driving. [5]
