The common snowtrout or snowtrout (however other species in the genus are also called snowtrout) (Schizothorax richardsonii) is a species of ray-finned fish in the genus Schizothorax. It is found in the Himalayan region of India, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan, and Afghanistan.
