Scary Mother is an Australian rock band. Formed in 1990 by Andrew Gillespie, Anthony Brown, Toby Messiter, Tim Burcham
and Dario Bortolin they released a self-titled EP in 1992. Bortolin left the band and was replaced by Dorian West. Scary Mother supported Faith No More in 1993 and in 1994 they released an album, Tai Laeo.[1]
Gillespie, Brown and Messiter later formed Floating Me with Lucius Borich from Cog and Jon Stockman of Karnivool.
