Braden Barrie, known by his stage name SayWeCanFly is a Canadian acoustic, emo musician from Lindsay, Ontario.[1][2][3] He is the singer, frontman, and sole member of the act. He is currently signed to Epitaph Records, which he has been signed to since July 2015.[4]

Career

Barrie began performing under the stage name SayWeCanFly in 2009. In 2013, Barrie released an EP titled Heaven Is Hell.[5] SayWeCanFly was ranked number three on Alternative Press's 2013 Readers Poll: Best AP&R Band.[6]

In January 2015, Barrie released his debut album titled Between the Roses.[7][8]

SayWeCanFly was on the bill for Warped Tour in 2015.[9] Since then he embarked European/UK tour in early 2016, featuring co-headliners Tonight Alive, and Set It Off. The tour also featured The Ready Set.[10]

In 2016, he appeared in an episode of MTV Cribs with roommate and former bandmate Landon Hagemann.
