Saverio Ritter
Saverio Ritter (24 January 1884, Chiavenna - 21 April 1951, Pietrelcina) was an Italian Roman Catholic clergyman. He was ordained priest on 9 September 1906 and consecrated titular archbishop of Egina by cardinal Eugenio Pacelli on 11 August 1935. In 1946 he was invited to Czechoslovakia as internuncio - he later became an official of the Secretariat of State in 1950. He consecrated cardinals Josef Beran and Štěpán Trochta and bishop Josef Hlouch.
