The 2009–10 Saudi Professional League (officially known as the Zain League, because of its sponsorship) was the 34th season of Saudi Professional League since its establishment in 1976.

Al-Ittihad were the defending champions for this season, having won the previous 2008–09 season. The season featured 10 teams from the 2008–09 and two new teams promoted from the 2008–09 First Division: Al-Qadisiya and Al-Fateh who replace relegated Abha and Al-Watani.

On 28 January 2010, Al-Hilal won the title with two games to spare after a 1–0 home win over Al-Ettifaq. It was their twelfth league title overall. No team was relegated.
