Satyapramoda Tirtha (officially known as Shrī 1008 Shrī Satyāpramoda Tīrtha Swāmīji) is the 41st pontiff of Uttaradi Matha, a math (mutt) dedicated to Dvaita philosophy, which has a large following in southern India.[2][3][4]
Early life
He was born to Rangacharya Guttal from the village Guttal in Dharwad district of Karnataka in the year 1918. The present pontiff of Uttaradi Matha Shri Satyatma Tirtha is the grandson as well as the student of Satyapramoda Tirtha.[5]
