The Sardar Government Museum is located in Public Park (Ummed Bagh) Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The Museum got its name after the Maharaja of Jodhpur Sardar Singh and was constructed under the reign of Maharaja Umed Signhji. It was built by Henry Vaughan Lanchester in 1909 and formally opened to public on 17 March 1936. [1] [2]

The museum is also divided into five sections, namely archaeological, armory, art & craft and historical section. It is particularly rich in weapons, textiles, miniature portraits and local arts and crafts collections.
