Sarah Hassan (born 5 September 1988) is a Kenyan actress, model and TV host. She has appeared in more than a dozen films and television series. She is notable for her role in the Citizen TV comedy-drama, Tahidi High and The Wedding Show.[1]

Early life

Sarah Hassan was born on September 5, 1988 in Mombasa in Kenya. She is the only child of her parents.

Career

Hassan made her debut on TV in 2009 in TV show Tahidi High as Tanya one of the leads at that period that also marked her breakthrough to the film industry in Kenya. She also starred in hit series Demigods, Saints and Changes. Sarah first hosted the East African Dance show Sakata Mashariki. In 2013 she took over Noni Gathoni's,The Wedding Show as the main host till December 2014. Besides acting, she is a fashion spokesperson having become a brand ambassador to several local fashion lines.[2]
