Sara Mérida Pérez (born 8 April 1993) is a Spanish football midfielder currently playing for RCD Espanyol.[1] She won the 2010 U17 Euro[2] and took part in the 2010 U-17 World Cup in which Spain won the bronze medal, scoring against New Zealand. An anterior cruciate ligament injury in January 2011 prevented her from playing the 2011 U-19 Euro.[3]
Her brother Fran is also a football player,[4] currently playing for Osasuna.
