Santa Magdalena is a fifth class municipality in the province of Sorsogon, Philippines, in the south of Luzon Island. It is bounded by Bulusan, Matnog and Irosin. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 16,520 people. It is the smallest municipality in the province, both in population and area.[3]
