Sanja Đorđević (Serbian Cyrillic: Сања Ђорђевић) is a Serbian folk singer. Đorđević was born in 1969 in Pljevlja, SR Montenegro, SFR Yugoslavia. She was brought up in Sarajevo, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina. Her first album, Ko je ta, was released in 1987 by Diskoton. During the Yugoslav Wars (1991–95) she relocated to Belgrade, Serbia, where she continued her music career. Her breakthrough came in 2003. Her 2008 album was produced by Viki Miljković's husband Predrag Tasković-Taske. She took a four-year break between 2008 and 2013.[1] Her most famous and popular songs are: Mutivoda (the best song), Sanja (from her 2003 album), Za inat rođena, Poruči pesmu sa imenom mojim, and Ti zaplakaćes na mojoj strani kreveta. She is married to Petar, a former footballer, with whom she has a daughter.[2] She has said that she allows her husband to be unfaithful.[3] Đorđević also speaks French.
