Sandakan (federal constituency)
Sandakan is a federal constituency in Sabah, Malaysia, that has been represented in the Dewan Rakyat since 1971.
The federal constituency was created in the 1966 redistribution and is mandated to return a single member to the Dewan Rakyat under the first past the post voting system.
History
2004–2016: The constituency contains the polling districts of Taman Indah Jaya, Beatrice, Batu 1 Jalan Utara, Batu 2 Jalan Utara, Trig Hill, Jalan Utara, Packy Valley, Sungai Anip, Happy Valley, Sandakan Pekan, Cathay, Pasar, Sim-Sim, Pulau Berhala, Jalan Dua.
2016–present:[1] The constituency contains the polling districts of Taman Indah Jaya, Beatrice, Batu 1 Jalan Utara, Batu 2 Jalan Utara, Trig Hill, Jalan Utara, Pecky Valley, Sungai Anip, Batu 3 Jalan Utara, Batu 5 Jalan Utara, Happy Valley, Sandakan Pekan, Cathay, Pasar, Sim-Sim, Pulau Berhala, Jalan Dua.
