Sana Commerce is a B2B e-commerce and B2C e-commerce software company headquartered at the Van Nelle Factory, located in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Sana provides B2B & B2C e-commerce solutions that help wholesales, manufacturers and distributors all over the world to optimize their online customer experience, streamline sales processes and increase online sales volumes. Sana's web store solution are 100% integrated with Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics and SAP. Sana Commerce was founded in 2008 and is a subsidiary of ISM eCompany, which was founded by Jan Kees de Jager and Karel van der Woude in 1992.[1] The company currently has implemented over 1200 web stores worldwide and examples of customers include Björn Borg (brand), AkzoNobel and Chelsea FC.[2]
History
Before the foundation of Sana Commerce, SANA (Software Application Network Architecture) was being used by ISM eCompany as a software platform for web applications and content management websites. In 2008, this software was developed into an integrated E-Commerce solution and was named Sana Software. Right from the start, Sana Software was available for Microsoft Dynamics NAV[3] and Microsoft Dynamics AX.[4] In 2013, the brand name was changed into Sana Commerce. From 2014 on, Sana Commerce is also available for SAP ERP and is named a SAP Partner.[5]
Products & Services
Sana has developed e-commerce solutions that fully integrate with ERP systems of Microsoft Dynamics, such as Dynamics NAV, Microsoft Dynamics AX, Dynamics GP, Dynamics 365 for Operations and Dynamics 365 for Financials. Sana Commerce also fully integrates with ERP systems from SAP, including SAP ERP, SAP Business One and SAP Business One for HANA.
To offer a complete e-commerce solution, they also provide additional supplementary services including online marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) advice, hosting and design.
