San Miguel de Chaccrapampa or Chakrapampa (Quechua chakra field, pampa large plain, "field plain") is one of the nineteen districts of the Andahuaylas Province in Peru.[1]

Ethnic groups

The people in the district are mainly indigenous citizens of Quechua descent. Quechua is the language which the majority of the population (98.07%) learnt to speak in childhood, 1.81% of the residents started speaking using the Spanish language (2007 Peru Census).[2]
