San Agustín del Guadalix is a town in Spain, located in the north of the Comunidad de Madrid near to the Sierra del Guadarrama.

It is bordered by Pedrezuela to the north, the municipalities of El Molar and Algete to the East and Colmenar Viejo to the south and West.

The history of the town is unclear, but it appears to have been settled by the Iberians in the pre-Christian era. Proximity to Madrid has led to its popularity as a commuter base with the result that its population has more than tripled in the late 20th century from 2,459 inhabitants to over 9000 in the year 2006. This has substantially changed the face of the town, resulting in blocks of flats replacing the older two-storey buildings as the preferred means of accommodation. Furthermore, the traditional industries of agriculture and livestock have been superseded by more heavy industry.

The main festival takes place the third Sunday of May in honour of the Virgin of Navalazarza.
