Samuel Northmore (birth registered January–March 1872 in Millom[1] – death unknown) was a rugby union footballer of the 1890s, playing at representative level for England, and at club level for Millom,[2] as a Fly-half, i.e. number 10. Prior to the 1899/1900 season: Millom was a rugby union club.
Playing career
International honours
Northmore won a cap for England while at Millom in 1897 against Ireland.[3]
Change of Code
When Millom converted from the rugby union code to the rugby league code for the 1899/1900 season, Samuel Northmore continued to play under Northern Union rules [4]
