Samantha A. "Sam" Smith (born November 4, 1969) is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Mary Winchester on Supernatural.
Career
Smith began her career as a teenage model.[1] She moved to Los Angeles and planned on doing commercials to support herself while attended UCLA, she was in a HBO commercial that aired during the Super Bowl, this exposure lead to her finding agent and beginning her acting career.[1]
Her most notable role is Mary Winchester on the paranormal and fantasy TV series, Supernatural.[1][2][3] She has also had guest appearances on Rizzoli & Isles[4] and Criminal Minds.[4] Her film work includes Jerry Maguire[4] and Transformers.[1]
Personal life
Smith is married and has a son.[5]
