Sam Mayo

Sam Mayo was a British Music Hall entertainer from the early twentieth century. [1]His real name was Samuel Cowan. He was born in 1881 and died in 1938.

He was most famous for comic songs such as "Bread and Marmalade". He appeared in pantomime, and later toured with his own Revue.
