Sally Cato is the lead singer of the 1980s glam rock/metal band Smashed Gladys and former singer of Toronto punk-era band, The Concords. As of 1996, Cato is the owner of a New York City marketing and design firm, mostly creating material for entertainment: film, Broadway and West End theatre shows such as Eric Idle's Spamalot, The Rutles, An Evening Without Monty Python, Blast! (musical) and others. Cato has been a Tibetan Buddhist for most of her adult life.
