Salanam (Tamil: சலனம்) is a 2003 Indian-tamil soap opera starring Ashok, Shalini, Keerthana, Murali and Ajay Kapoor. It aired Monday through Friday at 7:30PM (IST). The series was produced by UTV and directed by Kavitha Bharathy. It is inspired by the 1995 movie Aasai. It had been receiving the highest ratings of Tamil serials.[1]

This serial re-telecast on Sister Channel from 6 January 2016 on Monday to Friday at 12:30PM (IST) on Vijay Super.

Plot

Salanam serial is about three young girls (Nandhini, Sandhiya and Vidhya) whose lives are caught in a vortex and how they disentangle themselves.
