Sai Prathap Annayyagari (born 20 September 1944) was a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India. He represented the Rajampet constituency of Andhra Pradesh and was a member of the Indian National Congress until recently. He was a minister of state for steel in Manmohan Singh Cabinet.He was representing rajampet constituency for six terms.He fought for united Andhra pradesh and he even quit the Indian National Congress for that. A six-time MP from Rajampet Lok Sabha constituency of Kadapa district, Mr. Sai Pratap resigned from the Congress in protest against its decision to bifurcate the State. He had kept himself away from active politics ever since. He joined TDP in the presence of Chandra Babu Naidu on 24-Mar-2016.
