Sadiqabad (Urdu: صادِق آباد), (Punjabi: صادق آباد) is a city and capital of Sadiqabad Tehsil in Rahim Yar Khan District, Punjab province of Pakistan.[1][2] It is situated at the border of Sindh and Punjab. Sadiqabad has Cholistan desert attached to it.
History
It is believed that Sadiqabad is renowned by the name of Nawab Sadiq.
Demographics
The population of Sadiqabad is 500,000 in 2017. There are 80% of population are Punjabi, 10% consist of Saraiki, 3% consist of Pashto people and 7% others.
There are different ethnic group who are migrated from different part of countries.
Balochi, Brahvi, Saraiki, Sindhi and Punjabi speakers are found.
