Saaristattus is a spider genus of the Salticidae family (jumping spiders). The single described species Saaristattus tropicus is found in Malaysia.[1]
Name
The genus name is derived from Finnish arachnologist Michael Saaristo and attus, an often used salticid genus ending meaning "jumper". The species name means "tropical".[2]
