Solute carrier family 46 (folate transporter), member 1 (SLC46A1) also known as proton-coupled folate transporter (PCFT), is a protein which in humans is encoded by the SLC46A1 gene.[5][6][7]

Function

SLC46A1 is responsible for the intestinal uptake of folate.[8]
