SHI International Corp. (commonly referred to as SHI), formerly known as Software House International,[1] is a privately owned global provider of technology products and services, headquartered in Somerset, NJ. SHI delivers custom IT solutions to Academic, Corporate, Enterprise, and Public Sector customers.[2]

SHI is a North America top 15 largest provider of IT Solutions,[3] with 3,500 employees across 30+ offices[4] in the United States,[5] Canada,[6] France,[7] Hong Kong,[8] and the United Kingdom.[9] SHI has amassed 17,500 customers, including the likes of Boeing, Johnson & Johnson and AT&T.[10]

SHI is owned by president and CEO Thai Lee[11] and is the largest Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) in the U.S.[12]

SHI operates a 305,000-square-foot Integration Center in Piscataway, N.J.[13]

In 2016, SHI acquired Eastridge,[14] a Microsoft services provider.

In Q1 of 2017, SHI launched AWS Support Services for public cloud and forecasts, managing over $1 billion in customers’ Microsoft cloud assets in 2017.[15]

In 2017, CRN ranked SHI #9 on the Solution Provider 500 list.[16]

History

SHI was founded in November 1989 by Thai Lee[11] and Koguan Leo (co-founder and Chairman of the Board).[17]

Operations

Public Contracts Since 2015

In April 2017, SHI was awarded a NASPO ValuePoint—Cloud Solutions master agreement, which allows the company to offer Software as a Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and value-added services to state and local public sector organizations across potentially every state in the U.S.[18]

In February 2017, SHI was named to a $13.7 million contract option to support the Defense Logistics Agency’s Microsoft software.[19]

In 2015, SHI was named to two NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) V federal buying contracts for groups A and D.[20]

Green IT

SHI's World Headquarters is solar-powered, has no fumes, wastewater or electromagnetic discharge. SHI complies with county and municipal recycling regulations[21]

SHI received a Gold LEED Green certification in March 2013.
