Sękowice [sɛnkɔˈvit͡sɛ] (German: Schenkendorf) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Gubin, within Krosno Odrzańskie County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland, close to the German border.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) south of Gubin, 30 km (19 mi) south-west of Krosno Odrzańskie, and 55 km (34 mi) west of Zielona Góra.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
