Såta Nunatak

Såta Nunatak (69°46′S 37°17′E / 69.767°S 37.283°E / -69.767; 37.283Coordinates: 69°46′S 37°17′E / 69.767°S 37.283°E / -69.767; 37.283) is a nunatak, 0.5 nautical miles (0.93 km) north of Kista Nunatak, standing at the east side of Fletta Bay along the southwest shore of Lützow-Holm Bay. It was mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936–37, and named Såta ("the haystack").[1]
