Ryan Wallace (artist)

Ryan Wallace (born 1977 in New York City) is a multi-media artist living and working in New York City. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Rhode Island School of Design in 1999. Wallace’s paintings, works on paper, installations and sculptures have been exhibited in galleries, museums and institutions across North America and Europe. He currently lives and works in Brooklyn, and East Hampton, New York.

Wallace’s works can be found in the collections of the RISD Museum, Providence; Museum of Modern Art, NYC; SF MoMA, San Francisco; Schwartz Collection, Harvard Business School, Cambridge; Watermill Center, Watermill; and the Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego, among others. He is a Pollock-Krasner Grant recipient and a Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop SIP Fellow.

He is currently represented by Susan Inglett Gallery in New York, Romer Young Gallery in San Francisco and Cooper Cole Gallery in Toronto.

In addition to outside curatorial projects, Wallace co-owns and operates the Halsey McKay Gallery in East Hampton, NY.
