Ryan J. Brown (born 29 August 1991) is an award-winning English actor and screenwriter, born in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire.
He studied at Goldsmiths, University of London and received a DADA scholarship to train as an actor at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.[1] His acting credits include Olly in Positive at The Park theatre[2] and a role in BBC Three series Coconut, which he also co-wrote.[3]
In 2016 he won the BAFTA New Writing Prize for TV Drama for his LGBT crime drama We Are Your Children.[4] He was also a finalist in Lionsgate and Idris Elba's Write to Greenlight Competition.[5]
