Ryan Drummond is an American voice actor, singer, film actor, clown and comedian.[1] He was born in Lima, Ohio, US on January 10, 1973. He is mainly known for voicing Sonic the Hedgehog along with other characters included in the video games series for SEGA from 1998 to 2004 which includes Sonic Adventure,[2] Sonic Heroes,[3] and Sonic Shuffle.[4] Then, he was succeeded by Jason Griffith for the voice of Sonic, as seen in Sonic X. He is also known for being the bass vocalist in the A.Y.U. Quartet since 1991. Recently, he has starred in a musical comedy in San Diego called "Forever Plaid".[5]
Personal life
Drummond married his wife, Lisa Drummond, on October 8, 2002. They live in San Francisco, California. They both had planned to have a child, which they did on February 13, 2008, where they had given birth to their first child named Daniel Timothy Drummond.[6] Drummond would update his fans about his personal life from time to time on his online blog. However, he has not posted nor commented on anything since Friday, February 26, 2010 for unknown reasons.[7]
