Ruth Mackenzie
Ruth Mackenzie, CBE, (born July 1957) is artistic director of the Holland Festival. She was formerly general director of Scottish Opera. She is a former drama officer for the Arts Council, and was executive director of Nottingham Playhouse from 1990 until 1997, when she joined Scottish Opera. She was appointed a member of the Order of the British Empire in 1995.[1] She was director of the London 2012 Festival, the official cultural programme of the London 2012 Olympics[2] for which she was awarded the CBE.[3]
