Ruby Barnhill (born July[3] 2004)[4] is an English actress. She played the lead role of Sophie in Steven Spielberg's 2016 film The BFG.[5]
Early life
Barnhill was born in Knutsford, Cheshire, England. She lives with her parents and younger sister in Cheshire, and is a member of the local youth theatre.[6] Her father is actor Paul Barnhill.[7]
