Rron Broja (born 9 April 1996) is a Kosovo Albanian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Kosovan club Trepça'89.
Early life
Broja was born in Mitrovica, FR Yugoslavia from Kosovo Albanian parents. He also holds Albanian citizenship.[1]
Club career
Gent
In January 2015. Broja signed to Belgian club Gent.[2]
Loan at Deinze
On 3 July 2015. Broja joined Belgian First Division B side Deinze, on a season-long loan.[3]
Trepça'89
On 1 July 2016. Salihu signed to Football Superleague of Kosovo side Trepça'89.
International career
Albania U21
On 8 June 2015. Broja received a call-up from Albania U21 for a friendly match against Kazakhstan U21 and Sweden U21[4] and on 16 June 2015, he made his debut with Albania in a friendly match against Sweden U21.
Kosovo U21
On 13 March 2016, it was announced that Broja had accepted an invitation to represent Kosovo.[5] On 21 March 2017. Broja received a call-up from Kosovo U21 for a 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualification match against Republic of Ireland U21[6] and making his debut after being named in the starting line-up.
