Rowley is an unincorporated community in Tooele County, Utah, United States. Rowley sits on the western shore of the Great Salt Lake approximately 15 miles (by road) north of I-80 Exit 77, serving Timpie/Rowley Junction.
Rowley is the site of a large magnesium processing plant run by US Magnesium. This facility was identified by the EPA as a major air polluter in the 1990s[1] and was investigated by the CDC for worker health hazards in 2005.[2]
