Stephanie Rose Bertram, or Stephanie Bertram-Rose, most commonly known as Rose Bertram (born 26 October 1994),[1][2] is a Belgian model.
Early life and family
Rose was born in Kortrijk; her father is Belgian and her mother is Portuguese, Angolan, and Senegalese.[3] Her mother signed her with a modeling agency when she was 13.[1][2] She was raised in the Flemish-speaking part of Belgium and in Deinze.[4][5]
Career
Bertram was cast by the Dominique agency at 16[6] and first attracted notice in a photo-shoot with Juergen Teller for Jambox;[4][5] she has since appeared in campaigns for H&M, L'Oréal, Hunkemöller, Primark,[1][2][7] and Agent Provocateur among others, .[8] She moved to the United States when she turned 18, and signed with Marilyn.[5]
She has been the subject of photo articles in Oyster, shot by Tyler, the Creator,[9] and in Galore,[10] and modeled for several fashion houses.[11] In 2015 she became the first Belgian model to be featured in promotion for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.[6]
Personal life
Bertram lives with the Dutch footballer Gregory van der Wiel,[1][2][12] whom she met when she was 17.[13] They previously lived in Paris; after his transfer to the Turkish club Fenerbahçe in 2016, they moved to Istanbul.[14]
