"Romeo Delight" is a song by Van Halen from their 1980 album Women and Children First. The band played the song on the subsequent Invasion tour. Many of the melodies for the song were taken from a demo track the band did called "Get the Show on the Road". Singer David Lee Roth changed the lyrics of the second verse for the band's 1982 "Hide Your Sheep" tour. This is most apparent during the 1983 US Festival where he made his usual changes before famously yelling "I forgot the fuckin' words". Eddie Van Halen's former wife Valerie Bertinelli claimed it was her favorite Van Halen song in her book Losing It: And Gaining My Life Back One Pound at a Time. A live version of the song is included on the 2015 live album Tokyo Dome Live in Concert
Canadian thrash metal band Annihilator covered the song on their Annihilator album, as did Arizona hard rock band Greenhaven on "In Memory of Bull Angus."
