Roger Edward Alfred Farmer (born April 4, 1955) is an American economist at the University of California, Los Angeles,[1] known for his work on self-fulfilling prophecies. His son is the economist Leland Edward Farmer, who is joining the faculty of the University of Virginia in July 2017.[2]
