Roger Allen (cross-country skier)
Roger Allen (born 5 May 1952) is a Canadian former cross-country skier who competed in the 1972 Winter Olympics.[1] Birthplace (Aklavik, Northwest Territories). [2] Six of the eight cross-country skiers sent to the 1972 Olympics were from the Mackenzie Delta town of Inuvik, Northwest Territories. One of the six was Roger Allen. [3] Finished 50th in the 15km men's, 13th in the relay 4x10 men's races. [2] Roger was part of the Territorial Experimental Ski Training Program at Grollier Hall (Residential School). [4]
